Speaking on the most recent episode of the Game Mess Decides podcast, Jeff Grubb disclosed that Hawaiian Polynesian culture would serve as the inspiration for the successor to the vibrant open-world game by Ubisoft, whose production name is Oxygen. Additionally, the creator is considering changing the game’s aesthetic to avoid being overly influenced by Zelda: Breath of the Wild while maintaining a stylized appearance. Ubisoft revealed canceling Ghost Recon Frontline, Splinter Cell VR, and two unannounced projects during the earnings call on Thursday. Additionally, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was postponed.
